How To Use Facebook's Insights' Pages to Watch as an Advantage Over Your Competition

This week I decided to start my journey by working on my business facebook page. My focus today is on the insight tool. Now let me be honest here, I'm still new to it. Yes, I know the insight tool has been around for a while, but I have never really studied it, so I'm still learning how this tool really works and I have to start somewhere, right? Well, here's the thing I love most about this tool, already.

Under the insight area if you scroll to the bottom of the page you'll notice the words, Pages to Watch. Those 3 little words are a really huge deal because it shows me how my page compares to some of my favorite Facebook pages.

I've discovered that you can add as many pages as you want, but I think 4 or 5 is a good number to compare. Too many is just overwhelming for me, so I'm keeping things simple. Now as you can see, I'm at the bottom for obvious reasons!

My goal is to work myself to the top or at least pretty darn close! I do have to pat myself on the back, however, because I had 6 people engaged on my page with only 4 posts! I noticed that Millionaire Melanie Duncan is not far ahead of me, so I'm doing pretty good! I am, however aiming for a bigger readership, close to Chalene Johnson. I know it's going to take some time, but I'll get there!

I suggest if your goal is to work on your facebook page this month, you check out the insights area and add a few of your favorite business pages to see where you stack up. You just might be as surprised as I was!
