You Told

Here's a dream I had that I'm thinking about turning into a future story. Ahh... So much writing to think about, so little time!

ream: sitting at a table with a girl across from her who is a friend. They're at a concert where the lead singer is the girl's favorite band. she keeps wowing at him the entire time. He comes down off the stage and her friend encourages her to say hello to him. The girl keeps insisting that she can't and he would never notice her and the friend asks why not just as the guy walks by their table and she looks up at him and blurts out, "Hi, I love your hair."

Guy stops and responds, "And I've heard you're a bitch!"

But, the girl didn't hear what he said through the fans shouts and loud music, but her friend did because he's stopped right next to her for one moment. Her eyes have a shocked look and she says, "Wow, how do you respond to something like that?"

"What? What did he say?"

"He said you're a bitch."

"What?" She looks shocked herself. Her friend nods and motions at something behind the girl. The girl turns around and sees the lead singer sitting down behind her. He's turned toward her.

"I'm not a bitch." She says to him. He shrugs and tries to turn away, but she's not finished. "What made you think I am?"

Before he can answer, there is a commotion and he looks over to the isle. "Isn't that your friend?"

She follows his gaze and sees a lot of blood on the floor. There is a crowd forming and she can't see who it is, so she gets up and pushes her way through the crowd. She has been stabbed numerous times in the face and body. She is weak and someone is holding her head. The paramedics are just arriving. "Oh my god, Laura!"

Her friend responds saying, "You told. I trusted you and you told."

"What? What are you talking about?" By this time the paramedics are pushing everyone back including the girl.

"You told." Her friend says again.

Suddenly someone from the crowd chimes in, "You told." Then more people chime in. The girl looks confused and covers her ears.

The next thing she knows she's awakes from her own bed with the echo of "You told." whispering.
