Alayna muttered a cruse under her breath and glared at the girl behind the ticket counter.
"I'm sorry, but in order to book a flight with our airlines, you must have Blue Cross short term insurance."
"But that's ridiculous and I can't afford it, and I've already reserved the ticket!" Alayna argued.
"That's not a problem, miss. We can just cancel your reservation and all you have to do is pay the cancellation fee." The girl smiled.
This was just not happening. Could things get any worse? She turned to her best friend who'd already purchased his ticket in the line next to her.
"Sorry Hun." He shrugged.
This was, she decided, the worst day of her entire miserable life.
