Accusations

"And you're sure you took the pills and not something else like your damn daily multivitamin?" Her husband asked.

"Yes, they're what made me drowsy, but shouldn't have." She said.

"Uhh Huh." When her husband had first entered the bathroom she'd thought he'd been concerned about her missing her own party, but it hadn't taken long for her to realize that she'd been completely wrong as his face turned from stunned to anger. And now he was suddenly questioning what she'd been taking and accusing her of being wrong.

Why wasn't he ever concerned about her. Why was he always accusing, angry and bitter. "I think you took your vitamin." She shook her head at his accusation. It was a mistake. He took a step forward, his face filled with hatred. "You're fat. You need to forget the vitamins and take your pills. You're letting all that food get to your head and your body."

She nodded in response and waited for his next move, but instead of more angry words, he turned and left the room, slamming the door shut on his way out.
